The Seeds of Education
Have Been Planted,
Have Taken Root, and Are Bearing Fruit!
Dear Friends of the Kopeyia Ghana School Fund,
With heartfelt thanks for your long-term, steadfast and generous support, I’m writing to let you know that the Kopeyia Ghana School Fund has reached an important milestone. We built a school, supported it as it became an established and effective educational institution in Kopeyia, and developed resources in the village that will now make it possible for the people of Kopeyia to support and maintain the school on their own.
CONGRATULATIONS! We’ve made it!

REPORT*
The Kopeyia Ghana School Fund, Inc., a non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) and non-sectarian
organization, is founded on the concept of providing an excellent
education to a generation of children from Kopeyia in order
to enable them to demolish their hand-to-mouth poverty of
ignorance, and to construct a secure way of life for their
community. Our goal is to empower the people of Kopeyia to
support and maintain this school by themselves for future
generations. This is only possible through the hard work of
a community of well-educated and motivated people.
We are implementing these ideas, and inculcating
in the entire Kopeyia youth the idea that with an excellent
education, they can tackle impossible tasks (like eradicating
poverty) with the problem-solving skills necessary to get
results.
In the 21st Century, it is not necessary
to re-invent the wheel. It is necessary to share ideas with
people who suffer because they don't have access to the common
knowledge the rest of the world uses to create progress. The
education that KGSF has made available in Kopeyia allows that
community to digest and understand new information and ideas,
especially regarding farming, health and nutrition.
It is also important to listen to and learn
from the people of Kopeyia, as they have many valuable lessons
about life and spirituality that we need to learn and work
hard to incorporate into our lives.
